Clashes Erupt Between Syrian Forces and National Guard in Sweida

Violent confrontations have erupted along the Tal Hadid–Al-Tha'la axis in northern Sweida countryside, accompanied by mortar shelling attributed to the so-called "Military Council," according to Syria TV. The clashes have sparked fires in the lands surrounding Tal Hadid due to the reciprocal bombardments, with tensions remaining high in the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that several individuals sustained injuries during the fighting, which has been ongoing since the previous evening in the western countryside of Sweida province. The wounded were transported to Sweida National Hospital. The clashes involve factions affiliated with the National Guard, government forces, and their allied units, with hostilities continuing in the region.
