Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak revealed that Israel was behind the 2008 assassination of former Syrian president's advisor Muhammad Suleiman, carried out by a special forces unit infiltrating via sea and firing three sniper shots.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak disclosed that "Israel is behind the killing of former Syrian president's advisor Muhammad Suleiman in 2008 after a special forces unit infiltrated by sea and fired three sniper shots," according to Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.
Suleiman was the mastermind behind the Syrian nuclear reactor in Deir ez-Zor.
