Grossi: No Indicators of Rebuilding Damaged Iranian Nuclear Facilities
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stated on Tuesday that there are no signs Iran has attempted to repair or rebuild nuclear facilities damaged by US and Israeli strikes.

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi said on Tuesday that there are no indicators that Iran has attempted to repair or rebuild its nuclear facilities damaged by US and Israeli military strikes during this year or last year.
Iran's Nuclear Facilities
US President Donald Trump stated that one of the main reasons for the United States entering a war with Iran on February 28 was to deprive Tehran of the ability to develop nuclear weapons, despite his confirmation that US strikes targeting Iranian nuclear sites in June 2025 "completely destroyed" Iran's nuclear program.
During a meeting of the UN Security Council, Grossi called on Iran to allow inspectors access to all nuclear sites, including those damaged by military attacks.
The IAEA has been unable to verify the status of Iran's stockpile of uranium enriched to levels approaching weapons-grade since the United States bombed Iranian nuclear sites last year.
However, Grossi said: "Since June 2025, we have not observed any activity to repair or rebuild any of the facilities damaged by military attacks in 2025 and 2026."
