President Trump stated that Iran has consented to permit nuclear inspectors on its soil, with inspections to be conducted under the International Atomic Energy Agency's supervision.

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump declared that Iran has agreed to allow nuclear inspectors to enter its territory, while noting there is "no rush" for their arrival in the country.
Trump added that American inspectors will join the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) team to participate in inspections of Iran's nuclear sites, according to Fox News.
Rafael Grossi, the director of the IAEA, confirmed on Wednesday that inspections of Iran’s nuclear facilities "will happen," though he did not specify an exact timeline for the inspections.
Speaking to reporters during a visit to Japan, Grossi stated, "Whether it happens today, tomorrow, in a week, or in ten days, this matter is important but not urgent. It will happen without fail."
Grossi’s remarks came amid differing stances between the United States and Iran following the signing of a memorandum of understanding aimed at ending the war. While U.S. officials affirmed that Tehran has agreed to the inspectors’ return, Iran insisted it will not permit the agency to inspect sites damaged by U.S. and Israeli strikes.
Grossi pointed out that the memorandum signed between Washington and Tehran explicitly states that planned nuclear activities to reduce highly enriched uranium "will be subject to supervision by the International Atomic Energy Agency," and "therefore, it is obvious that we will have to carry out inspections."
