An informed Iranian source confirmed that the negotiation delegation's planned visit to Switzerland is still scheduled, rejecting circulating reports about its cancellation.

The source, close to the Iranian negotiation team, told Fars agency, "The visit of the negotiation delegation to Switzerland has not been canceled as of the time this report was prepared," responding to speculation about the visit's status.

He added that details concerning the signing of the memorandum of understanding remain under discussion, study, and consultation among the involved parties, noting that no final decision has been made yet.

The source explained, "Consultations continue at various levels, and any final decision regarding the signing of the memorandum of understanding or related programs will be officially announced at the appropriate time."

In a related development, Axios reported that the United States, Iran, and intermediary countries are in talks about postponing the signing of the memorandum of understanding from Friday to the following Wednesday.

The report stated that if approved, the memorandum might be signed electronically before the scheduled date, potentially allowing for the early implementation of provisions concerning the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and enabling the full text of the agreement to be released.

The site noted discrepancies among sources about whether the early electronic signing has already occurred.

Axios added that the primary motivation for accelerating the timeline is to resume navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. It also mentioned that as of Wednesday morning, no final decision had been reached, while US-Iranian talks planned for Friday in Switzerland remain on the agenda.

According to the report, the meeting scheduled for Friday, chaired by US Vice President J.D. Vance and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, will focus on launching official negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear program.
