Iran has not yet reached a conclusion on the US proposal and has not provided any response to Washington, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said Thursday.

Iran has not yet reached a conclusion on the US proposal and has not provided any response to Washington, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said Thursday evening. Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei stated that "Tehran has not yet reached a conclusion on the proposal and has not provided any response to America," according to Reuters, citing a local agency.
US media outlets, including CNN and Axios, have published some details of the American plan. The proposal reportedly seeks a 10-year halt to uranium enrichment and demands that Iran ship its stockpile of highly enriched uranium out of the country.
According to US reports, the proposed memorandum of understanding includes a preliminary framework for a ceasefire and the start of 30-day negotiations aimed at reaching a comprehensive agreement. US President Donald Trump has described the recent talks with Iran as "very good," expressing his belief that a deal is now possible.
Tehran has stated it is studying the US proposal and will convey its final position through Pakistani mediators. Leaks indicate the negotiations revolve around three main issues that form the core of the conflict between the two sides.
The proposed understandings call for a gradual lifting of the US naval blockade on Iranian ports. In exchange, Iran would end the restrictions it has imposed on navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, allowing the return of commercial vessels and oil tankers through the waterway through which about a fifth of the world's seaborne oil passes.
Islamabad is expected to host delegations from the United States and Iran next week, a step described as a potential significant advance toward a possible peace agreement between the two sides.
