A senior Iranian official says Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is in good health after an injury sustained in an explosion early in the war.

Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader, has fully recovered from an injury and is now in excellent health, according to a senior official in the leader's office. Mazaher Hosseini, who oversees meetings for the supreme leader's office, made the statement before a gathering in Tehran on Friday evening.
Hosseini explained that Khamenei was injured "as a result of a wave of an explosion" at the start of the war on February 28 of last year. He added that the leader "has completely recovered and is in perfect health," as he confirmed. Hosseini also stated that the supreme leader's health condition is "currently stable and there are no concerns about his situation."
President Masoud Pezeshkian revealed details of a meeting with Mojtaba Khamenei on Thursday, describing it as lasting about two and a half hours and characterized by a "modest and deeply friendly" tone, according to his words. Speaking during a meeting with merchants and professionals, Pezeshkian said the encounter was "long and important," without specifying its exact date or providing further details.
Mojtaba Khamenei assumed the role of supreme leader after his father, Ali Khamenei, was killed in American and Israeli strikes. Since his appointment as leader in early March of last year, Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared in any photographs or audio recordings, while unofficial media outlets have circulated reports of his injury during that period.
