Israeli Army Reports Death of Female Soldier and Injuries in Drone Attack Near Northern Border
The Israeli military confirmed the death of a female sergeant and injuries to two others following a drone explosion near the Lebanese border.

The Israeli army announced on Thursday that a female soldier was killed and two others were wounded during a military operation in northern Israel.
According to the Walla news website, the Israeli army spokesperson authorized the release of information regarding the death of Sergeant Rotem Yanai, aged 20, from Givat Ada. She served as a non-commissioned officer in the Rotem Battalion (435) of the Givati Brigade. The fatality occurred on Wednesday due to a drone explosion in a military zone close to the Lebanese border.
The report also indicated that in the same incident, a reserve soldier sustained serious injuries, while another was moderately wounded.
The Israeli army continues its operations in southern Lebanon, targeting towns and villages with shelling and airstrikes. Concurrently, its forces are systematically destroying infrastructure at their deployment sites. Meanwhile, the Lebanese Hezbollah party persists in attacking Israeli forces using rockets and drones.
