Jordan hosts fifth trilateral summit with Cyprus, Greece
King Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, the Cypriot president, and the Greek prime minister meet in Amman for the fifth trilateral summit.

Amman's Al-Husseiniya Palace welcomed the Cypriot president, Nikos Christodoulides, and the Greek prime minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, on Wednesday for the fifth trilateral summit, hosted by King Abdullah II and the Crown Prince. The meetings are centered on deepening cooperation in energy, trade, investment, and security, alongside discussions on regional developments.
The summit, scheduled for later today in the Jordanian capital, marks the continuation of a strategic partnership that began with the first trilateral gathering in Cyprus in 2018. Subsequent summits were held in Jordan in 2019, Greece in 2021, and Cyprus in 2024.
Focus areas and regional context
Talks are expected to cover expanding collaboration across multiple sectors, with energy and security high on the agenda. The leaders will also address current regional issues, though specific details were not disclosed in the official announcement.
The summit series, now in its fifth edition, reflects a sustained effort by the three nations to coordinate on shared interests and challenges in the Eastern Mediterranean.
