Kremlin confirms Nov 10-11 Abu Dhabi talks with Kyiv and Washington
The Kremlin confirmed a Russian delegation will join trilateral negotiations in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11 to seek a settlement for the war in Ukraine.

The Kremlin confirmed on Tuesday that a Russian delegation will participate in new trilateral negotiations with Kyiv and Washington, scheduled for November 10 and 11 in Abu Dhabi. The talks aim to reach a settlement for the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian presidency, verified the timeline. "Yes, I can confirm this date," Peskov stated. "A Russian delegation will indeed travel to Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11 and will take part in the trilateral negotiations."
Delegation leadership and previous rounds
Peskov clarified that Vladimir Medinsky, the Russian negotiator, will once again lead the delegation. This mirrors his role during the previous round of similar talks held at the beginning of the current year.
Earlier, US envoy Steve Witkoff announced that the United States would convene delegations from Ukraine and Russia in Abu Dhabi on those same dates. The agenda includes discussions on ending the war, post-war security agreements, and de-escalation measures.
Witkoff’s social media statement
In a post on social media platforms, Witkoff detailed that the new Abu Dhabi discussions would address "post-war security agreements, de-escalation, humanitarian measures, and ending the war." American negotiators are seeking a breakthrough to conclude the prolonged conflict before winter arrives.
The prior round of Washington-mediated talks took place last February. That session occurred before the United States and Israel launched a war against Iran.
US representation and Putin’s approval
A senior US official told Reuters that Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the chief US negotiator, are expected to represent the United States in the Abu Dhabi negotiations.
Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to a new round of trilateral talks following his meeting with Witkoff in Saint Petersburg two weeks ago. This development marks the latest American effort to halt the deadliest conflict in Europe since World War II.
