Earlier on Saturday, Kuwait's General Fire Force reported that several firefighters were injured while extinguishing two fires that broke out following Iranian attacks on the country.
An initial statement from the General Fire Force indicated that teams were managing two separate fires at different locations, which were targeted in recent hostile attacks by Iranian forces against Kuwait.
The statement added that five firefighting teams, supported by the oil sector's firefighting units, responded to the first site, while three teams attended the second location.
During the firefighting operations at the first site, several firefighters and one worker sustained injuries, prompting evacuation and transfer of the injured for necessary medical treatment.
