Several hostile drones were detected inside Kuwaiti airspace early Sunday, with the armed forces responding immediately under established military protocols, according to a defense ministry spokesman. Colonel Saud Al-Otaibi, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, confirmed the incident in a statement, noting that the military dealt with the unmanned aircraft in accordance with approved procedures and military regulations.

The armed forces reaffirmed their full and high readiness to safeguard the nation’s security and protect both citizens and residents on Kuwaiti soil, the spokesman emphasized. He pledged that the military would confront any attempts that threaten the country’s security or the safety of its airspace.
