Netanyahu and Trump Agree on Ending Iran's Nuclear Threat
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and US President Trump concurred that any final deal with Iran must eliminate its nuclear threat completely.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Sunday that he and US President Donald Trump agreed on the necessity for any final agreement with Tehran to ensure the complete end of the Iranian nuclear threat.
In a statement issued following a phone call between the two leaders, Netanyahu said, "President Trump and I agreed that any final agreement with Iran must completely eliminate the nuclear threat. This entails dismantling Iran's uranium enrichment facilities and removing enriched nuclear materials from its territory."
On the same day, President Trump declared that ongoing negotiations between his administration and Tehran are proceeding in an "organized and constructive" manner. He emphasized that the naval blockade imposed on Iran will remain fully enforced until a final, ratified agreement is reached and signed by both parties.
Trump added, "My policy, like President Trump's policy, has not changed: Iran will not obtain nuclear weapons."
Netanyahu also mentioned that he discussed with President Trump a memorandum of understanding concerning the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
He affirmed, "The partnership between our countries on the battlefield has been solidified and is stronger than ever," noting that Trump reaffirmed his support for "Israel's right to self-defense against threats on all fronts, including Lebanon."
