Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed that nuclear facilities alone are insufficient to end the "Iranian threat," noting that he had previously issued directives to the army and Mossad stating that the solution is the overthrow of the Iranian regime.

An Israeli security official suggests: The probability of war with Iran is increasing.
Netanyahu said this in an interview with Israeli Channel 7.

Considering in his conversation with Israeli Channel 7 that "the survival of the Iranian regime will allow it to restore its capabilities," he said: "A year ago, Iran was on the verge of destroying us with atomic bombs, and when I learned of this, I initiated an operation we are conducting alone. Good people here told me: 'Well, but we must get a green light from the United States.'" He clarified that his response was: "There is no green light. We have no other option. Our existence is not a subject for negotiation."

This denial came regarding a report by the "Financial Times" newspaper stating that US President Donald Trump prevented a large-scale Israeli attack on Iran planned for execution during the weekend of October 10, describing the report as "inaccurate and biased." He added: "I will inform Trump of what we intend to do, but I will not ask him for a green light to strike Iran."
