Ukrainian forces attacked four ships in the Taganrog Bay of the Sea of Azov, resulting in one death and minor damage to vessels, according to the governor of Russia's Rostov region.

Yuri Selosar, the governor of Russia's Rostov region, reported on Saturday morning that Ukrainian forces launched attacks overnight on four ships located in Taganrog Bay in the northern Sea of Azov, causing the death of one individual.
In a post on the Max platform, Selosar detailed that the targeted vessels were of various types, including one tanker carrying methanol. He confirmed that a sailor aboard a technical ship was killed during the attack, while initial reports indicated no other injuries.
Selosar emphasized that there was no risk of methanol leakage following the incident and noted that the ships sustained only minor damage.
He also stated that over 15 drones were destroyed while repelling the air raid.
The previous night, a Ukrainian drone assault triggered a fire within the territory of the Taganrog seaport, though no casualties were reported.
