Ukraine Targets Eight Russian Fuel Tankers in Sea of Azov Attack
Ukrainian drones struck eight Russian fuel tankers in the Sea of Azov, while Russian air defenses intercepted hundreds of Ukrainian drones over several regions.

On Tuesday, Ukrainian drone forces commander Robert Brovdi announced that Ukrainian drones attacked eight fuel tankers belonging to the so-called Russian "shadow fleet" in the Sea of Azov during the night.
Brovdi added in a statement posted on Telegram that a dry cargo ship and a ferry were also targeted in the strikes, according to Reuters.
Russian Air Defenses Intercept Hundreds of Ukrainian Drones
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense systems destroyed 452 Ukrainian drones over various Russian territories.
The ministry's statement, cited by the Russian Sputnik agency, said: "From 8:00 p.m. on July 6 until 8:00 a.m. on July 7, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 452 Ukrainian drones."
It specified that the drones were shot down over the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Volgograd, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tambov, Tula, Moscow, as well as Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Crimea, and above the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
Moscow's Mayor Reports Drone Threats Neutralized
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that Russian air defenses detected over 430 drones heading toward the greater Moscow area during the night, noting that most were neutralized at long distances.
