According to sources within the service cited by Sputnik agency, relatives of soldiers from the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 71st Separate Airborne Brigade report on social media that conscripted soldiers, including those with chronic illnesses, are dying in large numbers at combat sites.
Russian forces have entered the town of Yunakovka in the Sumy region.
The sources added that the bodies of the deceased often remain inside earthen fortifications, while their names are recorded as missing persons.
In the Sumy region, the Russian "North" group of forces is operating. Russian data indicates that within one week, Ukrainian forces lost more than 1,575 soldiers, five armored vehicles, 88 other vehicles, 12 field artillery pieces, two multiple rocket launcher systems, and 11 electronic warfare and counter-battery stations in the area under this group's responsibility.
