Syria Calls for International Action to Halt Israeli Incursions
Syria condemns Israeli incursions in Quneitra and Daraa, urging the UN and international community to stop violations of its sovereignty.

Syria has strongly condemned Israeli incursions into its territories in the Quneitra and Daraa governorates, alongside artillery shelling targeting the region, which has caused fear among civilians.
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs described these actions as blatant violations of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, breaches of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, international law, and the United Nations Charter.
In a statement, the ministry warned that the continuation of these aggressive acts undermines efforts to establish security and stability, exacerbates the suffering of civilians in the affected areas, and risks further escalation and tension in the region.
The ministry also called on the United Nations and the international community to fulfill their responsibilities by taking necessary measures to halt these repeated violations and to ensure respect for the Disengagement Agreement in a manner that preserves Syria’s sovereignty and territorial unity.
On Sunday, Israeli forces entered the village of Abidin in western Daraa countryside and targeted the village and its surroundings with helicopter machine guns and artillery shells, causing material damage and prompting some residents to flee to neighboring villages.
