Train Service Suspended Between Tehran and Mashhad Following US Strikes
Train operations between Tehran and Mashhad have been halted due to US attacks on the railway, announced Iranian state TV hours before Khamenei's funeral.

Operations on the railway line connecting Tehran and Mashhad have been suspended, according to an announcement by Iranian state television, citing US attacks targeting the train route.
This development occurred just hours ahead of the funeral of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Mashhad, located in eastern Iran.
The Iranian railway operator stated that the suspension resulted from a "criminal attack carried out by the US-Israeli enemy targeting the railway track." The company added that repair teams have been dispatched to address the damages and that authorities are arranging land transportation for stranded passengers.
The burial ceremony for Khamenei in Mashhad is scheduled to commence in the afternoon.
