U.S. President Donald Trump called on nations around the world to withdraw from the International Criminal Court in his address to the United Nations General Assembly, emphasizing that his country does not recognize it.
Trump stressed that the United States "will not allow investigations into its military personnel or subject them" to what he described as "sham trials" before a court "hostile to America" and one that lacks jurisdiction over it.
He criticized UN human rights officials for condemning U.S. policies on transgender youth transitions and immigration enforcement, accusing the Human Rights Council of "hypocrisy" and "failing to adequately address the persecution of Christians worldwide."
