Trump Grants Pardons to 11 Convicts Labeled "Persecuted" Under Biden
Donald Trump issued pardons for 11 convicted individuals, including businessman Adam Kidan and multiple environmental violations, calling them "persecuted" by the Biden administration.

Former US President Donald Trump has granted pardons to 11 convicted individuals, among them businessman Adam Kidan and five cases involving environmental violations. Trump described these individuals as "persecuted" during the administration of his predecessor, Joe Biden.
The pardons covered six convicts, including Kidan, who served 70 months for conspiracy and fraud related to a $147.5 million casino deal in 2006. Kidan later became a prominent donor to the Republican Party.
The remaining pardons addressed environmental offenses tied to manipulating vehicle emissions systems, which violated the Clean Air Act.
Trump characterized those pardoned as victims of persecution by the Biden administration due to their "car modifications," labeling the situation as "politicization and stupidity" and promising their immediate release.
One additional pardon unrelated to environmental issues was granted to Jack Harvard, convicted of bank fraud in Texas during the 1980s. Harvard currently manages the Texas Safari Ranch.
