Trump: I Can Work With Democrats and Avoid Insulting Them 'Easily'
US President Donald Trump stated he can easily work with the Democratic Party without insulting them, emphasizing his willingness to cooperate for the country's benefit.

US President Donald Trump confirmed today, Saturday, his ability to work jointly with the Democratic Party and avoid directing criticism and accusations at them "easily," as he put it.
Trump's statement came in an interview on the American network CBS, in response to a question about his ability to refrain from insulting Democrats to reach any agreement, answering that he is capable of doing so "easily."
Earlier, Trump congratulated the Democrats on their victory in the midterm elections during a phone call with the network, saying, "My message is: I congratulate the Democrats, and I look forward to working with you for the good of our country."
Trump affirmed his determination to cooperate with the Democratic Party, stating: "I know many Democrats. I have full veto power, and I am confident that we will be able to reach solutions."
He added: "I think they will want to cooperate with me. Otherwise, I would use my veto against everything, and that is not something they would like."
He said: "I feel that my not running had no impact on the result. If I had been a candidate, we would have won."
