Trump: I was informed of the broad outlines of an agreement with Iran, and we may attack it again

US President Donald Trump stated that he was informed of the broad outlines of an agreement with Iran but is awaiting the precise wording, nevertheless confirming that the option of resuming attacks is still possible "if Tehran misbehaves."
A senior Iranian official stated that an Iranian proposal, rejected by Trump so far, includes opening the Strait of Hormuz and ending the US blockade on Iran, with talks on Iran's nuclear program postponed until a later time.
When asked about the Iranian proposal before heading to Miami in West Palm Beach, Florida, yesterday Saturday, Trump responded by saying, "They told me about the idea of an agreement. They will give me the precise wording now."
He added via social media that he could not imagine the proposals being acceptable, stressing that Iran has not yet paid a high enough price for what it has done.
In response to a question about the possibility of resuming attacks on Iran, Trump said, "I don't want to say that. I mean, I can't say that to a journalist. If they misbehave, if they do something bad, we will see then. But this is a possibility that could happen."
Trump explained earlier that he does not "humanely" prefer taking a military course of action against Iran, and he told congressional leaders that he does not need their permission to extend the war beyond the deadline set by law on Friday, noting that the ceasefire "ended" hostilities.
Trump has repeatedly stated that he will not allow Iran to possess a nuclear weapon, and on Friday he said he was not satisfied with the latest Iranian proposal. For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that Tehran is ready for diplomacy if the United States changes its approach.
