Trump: Iran attacked countries unrelated to the 'Freedom Project'
US President Donald Trump stated that Iran launched attacks on countries unrelated to the Freedom Project, including a South Korean cargo ship.

US President Donald Trump stated, on Monday evening, that Iran launched attacks on countries unrelated to the Freedom Project, including a South Korean cargo ship.
Trump's statements come after the US military announced the destruction of small Iranian boats and the interception of cruise missiles and drones launched by Tehran, as part of an American operation aimed at ensuring freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump said via his account on his platform "Truth Social": "Iran launched attacks on countries unrelated to the Freedom Project, including a South Korean cargo ship."
He added that "perhaps it is time for South Korea to join the mission! We shot down 7 small boats, or as they like to call them, 'fast' boats, that is all they have left. Except for the South Korean ship, no damage has been recorded in the strait so far."
The US President noted that "Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine will hold a press conference tomorrow morning."
Trump had warned that Iran "will be wiped off the face of the earth" if it attacks US ships that guide vessels through the Strait of Hormuz as part of the "Freedom Project," while noting that Iran has become more flexible in peace negotiations.
