Trump Plans to Submit Iran Agreement to US Congress
Donald Trump announced his intention to send the Iran agreement to the US Congress and promised to read its full text publicly.

On Tuesday, Donald Trump declared his plan to forward the agreement with Iran to the United States Congress, also pledging to read the entire text aloud to journalists.
Responding to a question during the G7 summit in Évian, the US president said, "I never thought about sending it" to the legislature, but added, "I will send it to Congress, I like that idea."
Trump was also asked about the text of the Iran agreement, which was electronically signed and is scheduled for an official signing ceremony in Switzerland on Friday. He reiterated his promise to announce it publicly.
"I will not just publish it. I will definitely hold a press conference and read it to you verbatim to ensure the press covers it accurately," Trump stated.
Previously, Trump had indicated he would not release the text before the signing event on Friday.
