Trump Threatens to Destroy 38 Bridges in One Hour: Will War with Iran Resume if Talks Fail?
US President Donald Trump stated it is highly unlikely he would order a return to war with Iran if ongoing talks progress, while threatening the capability to destroy 38 Iranian bridges within an hour.

US President Donald Trump said it is "extremely unlikely" that he would order the United States back into war with Iran, provided that ongoing talks continue to make progress, according to CNN.
In an interview with CNN, Trump described Iran as a "failed state," noting that its inflation rate had reached 301%, and emphasized that the decision to resume fighting depends on Tehran's agreement to sign a deal.
He added that US forces are stationed in the region and that he has three aircraft carriers on standby should he issue an order for a strike on Iran. He noted that Washington has identified targets in anticipation of any new military action, including power stations and bridges.
In this context, Trump stated that the United States is capable of destroying 38 bridges in Iran within one hour, but indicated that he does not prefer targeting them, given that reconstruction could take years.
Regarding Iran's military capabilities, Trump announced that Tehran no longer possesses more than 10% of its missile capacity and 15% of its drone capability, adding that many Iranian missile and drone factories have been destroyed.
He concluded by saying that military action will not be necessary because Iran "strongly wants to make a deal."
