Trump vows to seize and destroy Iran's highly enriched uranium
President Trump pledges to obtain and destroy Iran's highly enriched uranium, preventing Tehran from possessing nuclear weapons.

President Donald Trump declared on Thursday that the United States will acquire Iran's highly enriched uranium and destroy it, ensuring Tehran does not retain it or develop nuclear weapons.
Speaking at a White House press conference, Trump stated, "We will get the highly enriched uranium and destroy it. We cannot allow it to remain in Iran."
Earlier, Reuters reported that Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, had issued instructions not to export the country's stockpile of uranium enriched to near weapons-grade levels abroad.
Trump also emphasized, "We will make sure Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, and we want the Strait of Hormuz to be open without any tolls."
He noted that Washington maintains full control over the Strait of Hormuz through a blockade described as a "steel wall," and claimed that 75% of Iran's missile capabilities have been eliminated.
Trump mentioned that the United States and Iran are currently engaged in negotiations to reach an agreement.
"We are negotiating and will see how things turn out with Iran, but we will get what we want one way or another," he added.
