Trump: We Built the Strongest and Safest Border in American History

President Donald Trump said today, Friday, that he built nearly 2,000 miles of border wall and established the strongest and safest border in American history, as he described it.

He added in remarks at a Republican campaign event in Texas that under his administration, the United States achieved the lowest crime rate in America in 125 years.

He pointed out that the largest tax and regulatory cuts in American history were enacted, investment in the military was strengthened, and America became a global superpower in both energy and defense, according to him.

Trump also revealed his efforts to reduce drug prices by between 50% and 90% at times.

Trump renewed his attacks on Democrats and the previous administration, saying "Biden and far-left Democrats caused the worst inflation in American history."

He accused the Democratic Party of "turning America into a laughingstock around the world, but we have brought America back to leadership."
