The ministry detailed that the raids were carried out by provincial police counter-terrorism units, working in coordination with the General Directorate of Security Intelligence, the Counter-Terrorism Department, the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), and local public prosecutor’s offices.
Those taken into custody include wanted suspects, individuals accused of providing financial support to the organization, and others whose past activity within its ranks has been verified.
