Two members of Iran's Revolutionary Guard were killed in an armed confrontation with groups labeled as "terrorist" in the border city of Paveh, Kermanshah province.

Iranian media reported early Tuesday that two members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard were killed during an armed clash with groups described as "terrorist organizations" in the border city of Paveh, located in Kermanshah province in western Iran.
The "Urgent News" agency cited local sources stating that the confrontation took place in one of Paveh's areas. Initial reports mentioned that security forces intervened following the attack, but no further details were provided regarding the attackers' identities or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Separately, the Iranian Mehr news agency reported a security incident involving gunfire in the border city. It confirmed that security and intelligence agencies are continuing their investigations to uncover the incident's dimensions and identify those involved.
Mehr also noted that some unofficial reports mentioned fatalities resulting from the incident, but Iranian authorities have not yet released an official death toll or additional details about the clash.
In a related development, the Iranian Broadcasting and Television Organization's news agency reported the death of a civilian and injuries to his wife and three-year-old child after their vehicle was shot at in Saravan city, located in Sistan and Baluchestan province in southeastern Iran.
The report stated that the family's private car was targeted by armed assailants while driving through the city, resulting in the death of the driver, Amir Hassan Arbabi, at the scene. His wife and child were wounded and transported to a hospital for treatment.
The agency accused an armed group described as a "terrorist organization supported by Israel and the United States" of carrying out the attack, without providing evidence. It added that the relevant authorities are continuing their investigation and that further details will be announced later.
