Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed voiced full UAE solidarity with Bahrain after authorities uncovered a major cell tied to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has thrown his country’s full weight behind Bahrain’s security services after they dismantled a significant network linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and the "Wilayat al-Faqih" doctrine. The Emirati official’s statement, carried by the state-run WAM news agency, expressed support for Bahrain’s actions in cases involving espionage with foreign parties and sympathy with what Manama describes as "treacherous Iranian aggression."
The UAE’s top diplomat affirmed "the complete support of the UAE for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to protect its security, sovereignty, and stability, as well as the safety of its society." He praised the "efficiency and vigilance" of Bahraini security forces for successfully exposing the organization and taking legal action against its members.
Sheikh Abdullah reiterated the UAE’s "absolute rejection of all forms of terrorism and organizations linked to foreign agendas," stressing the importance of strengthening regional and international cooperation to confront these threats. He concluded by emphasizing that "the security of the Kingdom of Bahrain is an integral part of the security of the UAE and the Arab Gulf states," renewing the UAE’s full backing for all steps Bahrain takes to preserve its security, stability, and national gains.
