Ukrainian drone and missile strikes killed at least nine people across four Russian regions on Sunday, while Russian attacks killed five in Ukrainian territories including Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Kharkiv.
At least nine people died in Ukrainian strikes inside Russia on Sunday, according to regional officials. Simultaneously, Russian attacks killed five people across multiple Ukrainian regions, local authorities confirmed.
In Russia’s Belgorod region, Ukrainian strikes killed four people, including a 13-year-old girl, Acting Governor Alexander Shovayev announced.
A separate Ukrainian drone strike in Saratov region — which borders Kazakhstan — killed two people.
Three more fatalities occurred in Udmurtia region, over 1,000 kilometers from the front line, after a drone attack targeted a vehicle. Acting Governor Olga Abramova reported the deaths via Telegram.
In Ukraine, Russian strikes killed two people in Dnipropetrovsk region in the east, one person in Zaporizhzhia region in the south, and one person in Kherson region also in the south, according to local authorities.
Russian shelling damaged a postal facility in Kharkiv region in the north and killed one employee, state-owned postal service Nova Poshta confirmed.
