U.S. Ambassador to Israel: There Is Consensus in Israel Condemning Violence in the West Bank

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Harari confirmed that "half a million Israelis in the West Bank are disgusted by a group of troublemakers wrongly described as settlers," noting that "there is consensus in Israel condemning violence in the West Bank."

Dozens of Israeli settlers attacked the Palestinian town of Qusra in northern West Bank, shortly after weeks of tension in the area.

Israeli settlers carry out violent acts against Palestinians in the West Bank with little to no legal consequences. Violence in the West Bank has escalated since the outbreak of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, particularly settler attacks on Palestinians, which have become nearly daily occurrences.
