US Ambassador Mike Huckabee Credits Israel for America's Existence

Mike Huckabee, the US ambassador to Tel Aviv, declared that "without Israel, the United States would not exist" in reality, underscoring the importance of Israel and Jewish heritage for the survival of his country.

Huckabee indicated that his role extends beyond representing the United States, including explaining to Americans the significance of Israel, as reported by Hebrew media outlets.

His remarks followed recent statements by US President Donald Trump regarding the war on Iran, in which Trump explicitly said, "Without the United States, Israel would not exist," according to Israel's Channel Seven.

During a conference on "Jewish Heritage" held Tuesday in Israel, the American diplomat spoke about the importance of Israel and Jewish heritage to the United States.

In his speech, he said, "This is undoubtedly your heritage, but it is also the heritage of the United States. Without Israel, and without the Jewish element, our country would not exist," as he expressed it.

He added, "Our existence owes itself to what happened in this land," highlighting what he described as a "historical and spiritual connection" between the United States, the land of Israel, and Jewish heritage.

Meanwhile, Amichai Eliyahu, the Minister of Jewish Heritage, commented, "Some claim that Israel is isolated and that its relations with America are unclear. Others resort to UNESCO attempting to steal our history. Today, we invite them to visit our country, the International Archaeological Conference, and a 2,000-year-old blessing that has come back to life. This is our response to the weak from inside and outside, not with words, but with actions," according to his statement.
