The US Central Command announced on Sunday the list of locations targeted in recent airstrikes, following the killing of two American soldiers in an Iranian attack in Jordan.

In a statement, CENTCOM said, "Our forces struck coastal military observation points, Iranian air defense facilities, naval capabilities, and missile and drone storage sites."

The statement added that the strikes targeted Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces responsible for attacks on US troops in Jordan.

It also confirmed the completion of "another wave of attacks on Iran on July 18 at 11:30 p.m. Eastern Time."

Earlier on Sunday morning, Iranian media reported hearing multiple explosions across various areas of Qeshm Island in Hormozgan Province, marking the latest escalation in the ongoing military tensions between the United States and Iran.

According to Tasnim news agency, the explosions were heard around 3:38 a.m. local time, with several island residents reporting that multiple sites had been shelled.

The agency stated that at least six missiles struck areas on the outskirts of Qeshm Island, representing a new level of escalation in Hormozgan Province in southern Iran.

Tasnim further reported that several explosions occurred between 3:38 and 3:45 a.m. across different parts of the island, with field observations and local testimonies confirming that at least six missiles hit locations around Qeshm.

The agency noted that security authorities and relevant officials have yet to release any official statement detailing the attack or providing information on the extent of damage or casualties.
