Up to $15 million is now on offer from the Trump administration for intelligence that can break apart the financial infrastructure of Iran's Revolutionary Guards. The reward, announced Tuesday, is part of a broader American push to tighten the screws on Tehran and cut off its funding streams.

According to CNN, the initiative operates through the State Department's "Rewards for Justice" program. Washington's goal is to strangle the Iranian economy and force Tehran into negotiations for a new agreement.

Targeting Revenue and Evasion Networks

The program seeks precise information on "sources of revenue for the Revolutionary Guards, the Quds Force, and their branches, or their main financial facilitation mechanisms." This includes shell companies, individuals who help the Guards dodge sanctions, and financial institutions that do business with them.

American authorities also want detailed data on "methods of transferring money and equipment to agents and partners from terrorist militias." Additionally, they aim to identify financial institutions or exchange houses that facilitate Guards' transactions, as well as companies directly owned by the force.

Sanctions on Oil and Arms Supporters

In a related escalation, the U.S. imposed sanctions on 12 individuals and entities. These targets were cited for their role in facilitating Iranian oil sales and shipments to China on behalf of the Revolutionary Guards. The move is designed to close all loopholes used to bypass international sanctions.
