US Strike Hits Lark Island in Iran's Strait of Hormuz

On Wednesday, the semi-official Iranian news agency Tasnim reported that a US strike targeted Lark Island located in the Strait of Hormuz.

Lark Island has experienced multiple attacks during the recent military escalation. The latest occurred on Saturday when Tasnim stated that the maritime navigation monitoring center tower on Lark Island was struck and damaged due to American strikes.

Tasnim further indicated that a missile resulting from the US attack on Lark Island, situated in southern Iran, hit the maritime traffic monitoring tower, but did not provide additional details.

Previously, the US military announced the destruction of the monitoring tower at the port of Chabahar - Shahid Kalantari, which is part of a maritime surveillance network extending along Iran's coast on the Sea of Oman.
