Washington sets five conditions for Tehran to reach a deal
Iran’s Fars news agency reports that the US response to Tehran includes five key demands for a permanent ceasefire, covering uranium transfers, frozen assets, and compensation.

Iran’s Fars news agency has reported that Washington laid out five core conditions in its reply to Tehran, framing them as prerequisites for reaching a lasting ceasefire agreement.
The American demands, according to the agency, include a stipulation that the United States will pay no compensation or damages. Another condition calls for Iran to hand over 400 kilograms of uranium to the US.
Fars also stated that the US conditions involve not releasing even 25 percent of Iran’s frozen assets. Additionally, only one set of Iranian nuclear facilities would be permitted to remain operational under the proposed terms.
The agency further noted that Washington is linking the cessation of hostilities across all fronts to the progress of the negotiations.
