Aston Villa’s Victor Lindelof aims for Europa League glory with support from wife Maja Nilsson Lindelof, named Premier League’s hottest WAG.
Victor Lindelof, the Aston Villa defender, will feature in the Europa League final against Freiburg on May 20, accompanied by the support of his wife Maja Nilsson Lindelof, recently recognized as the Premier League’s most attractive WAG.

The Swedish defender Victor Lindelof, who transferred to Aston Villa in 2025 on a free transfer, has been instrumental in the club’s journey to the Europa League final. Before joining Villa, he spent eight years at Manchester United, securing the League Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024. Lindelof experienced Europa League final defeats in 2021 and 2025 with Manchester United against Villarreal and Tottenham, respectively.
Since his move, Lindelof has participated in 26 matches for Villa, including nine Europa League games. He told Birmingham Live, "I have lost it twice, so it will mean a lot for me to win it on Wednesday. If I play, then I will do absolutely everything I can to help bring back that trophy."
Maja Nilsson Lindelof's Public Recognition
Maja Nilsson Lindelof, Victor’s wife, was awarded the title of Premier League’s "hottest WAG" by AttractivenessTest.com, achieving a score of 9.7 out of 10. She first received this accolade in 2023, six years after moving to England following Victor’s £31 million transfer from Benfica to Manchester United in 2017.
Despite the acclaim, Maja has voiced dissatisfaction with the "WAG" label. On her blog, she wrote, "I am so sick and tired of people trying to make me smaller. Tired of people not knowing what’s important in life. I am an entrepreneur. I have my own company and soon I will start one more. If that is with money or love is none of your business."

In 2021, while Victor was still at Manchester United, Maja launched the fashion retailer Lis Bonne Atelier, which has since attracted over 42,000 followers on Instagram. After relocating to Birmingham with Victor, she has continued to develop her entrepreneurial activities.
