Family Celebrates Lamin Jamal's Call-Up to Spain National Team

The Spanish national team roster includes eight players, notably the young star Lamin Jamal, who will be participating in the World Cup finals for the first time.

The family of the 18-year-old Spanish player responded enthusiastically to the national team coach's invitation. His mother, Sheila Ibana, shared a video on her Instagram page capturing the family's reaction.

In the video, Lamin Jamal's mother, younger brother, and other family members are seen watching a television screen where the coach announces the list of selected players. As soon as Lamin Jamal's name is mentioned, the entire family stands up and dances while holding the national team jersey bearing the player's number.

Lamin Jamal has appeared in 25 international matches with the national team, scoring six goals and assisting 11. He was part of the squad that won the 2024 European Championship and finished as runner-up in the 2025 UEFA Nations League final.

The Spanish national team is placed in Group H alongside Saudi Arabia, Uruguay, and Cape Verde.
