Kane Joins Ronaldo, Lewandowski in Elite UCL Scoring Streak

English forward Harry Kane extended his scoring run in the UEFA Champions League to eight consecutive appearances after netting Bayern Munich’s second goal in a 5–0 victory over Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt on Thursday.

Only four players in UCL history

According to Opta, the official statistics provider, Kane is now one of only four players in the competition’s history to score in eight or more successive matches. He joins Cristiano Ronaldo, Robert Lewandowski, and Ruud van Nistelrooy on that list.

Kane scored in the 61st minute, rising to meet a free-kick delivered by Michael Olise and heading it into the net. The goal marked his eighth straight Champions League appearance with a goal.

Bayern’s goal sequence

Jamal Musiala opened the scoring for Bayern in the 47th minute. Kane doubled the lead nine minutes later. Alphonso Davies added a third in the 77th minute with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area.

Michael Olise completed the rout with two goals — in the 83rd minute and again in stoppage time at 90+2 — securing Bayern Munich’s emphatic start to their 2026–27 UEFA Champions League campaign.
