Karolin Fişekçi’s Unexpected Return to Football Stands
Karolin Fişekçi attended the 2-2 draw between Beşiktaş and Crystal Palace, noting she no longer follows football but recorded a goal while filming players.

Karolin Fişekçi, identified in reports as the former partner of Nobel laureate Orhan Pamuk, recently watched the Beşiktaş versus Crystal Palace fixture from the stands. She disclosed that she had not followed the sport for an extended period, despite having supported Beşiktaş during her youth.
Match attendance and personal history
Fişekçi shared details of her stadium visit on social media, confirming her presence at the UEFA match which ended in a 2-2 draw. She explained that while she once closely tracked football matches between the ages of 15 and 20, she has since stopped following the game.
"I used to follow and watch football when I was 15-20 years old. I supported Beşiktaş. Now I do not follow football," Fişekçi stated in her post. She added that high-scoring draws are preferable to low-scoring victories won without significant play, remarking that "high-scoring draws are better than 1-0 wins achieved by lying down."
Recording the goal incidentally
Although she admitted to not recognizing current players, Fişekçi noted that she retains knowledge of basic rules and tactics. She specified familiarity with formations such as 4-4-2 and 3-5-2, as well as concepts like offside, corners, and throw-ins.
While using her mobile phone to film specific players who caught her attention during the match, she inadvertently captured a goal moment. "I don't know who is who. In yesterday's match, there were some players who caught my attention. While trying to film them, I also filmed the goal," she said.
Upcoming vlog release
Fişekçi announced plans to compile footage from the match into a video log. She informed her followers that she would share this new content soon, marking a return to documenting the event through digital media.
