Mason Mount Begins Early Training Ahead of Crucial Manchester United Season
Mason Mount has started his physical and technical training early to prepare for a demanding season with Manchester United.

Mason Mount has initiated his fitness and skill training ahead of Manchester United's upcoming season.
Mount’s Journey at Manchester United
Following his 2021 Champions League victory with Chelsea and his integration into the England national team, Mason Mount transferred to Manchester United in 2023.
His tenure at the club has been challenging, primarily due to limited playing time.
Despite showing intelligence and solidity on the field, Mount has struggled with maintaining consistent appearances, having played only 72 matches and scored seven goals over three seasons.
Early Pre-Season Training Efforts
Although Manchester United's official pre-season training commences on 9th July at Carrington, some players, including Mount, have begun their preparations in advance.
Mount has shared videos on Instagram showcasing his training sessions in Spain, where he is working with Dr. Tom King, a performance coach formerly associated with Liverpool’s first-team fitness staff.
Dr. King, who holds a PhD in Applied Sports Science and runs King Performance Ideology, has experience training elite athletes.
The videos reveal Mount engaging in a combination of gym workouts, conditioning drills, and exercises focused on refining his shooting and passing skills.
At 27 years old, Mount aims to maintain fitness throughout the season and demonstrate his full capabilities to the Manchester United squad.
He has expressed willingness to adapt to various positions under Michael Carrick’s management, a flexibility that will be crucial as the team faces a demanding schedule across four competitions, including the Champions League.
