Real Madrid demands Vinicius Jr. reduce his contract demands as tensions rise between the player and fans ahead of his contract renewal.

Real Madrid has imposed a condition on Vinicius Jr. for renewing his contract as the relationship between the Brazilian star and the club's supporters continues to deteriorate.
The club appears reluctant to fully commit to the forward, whose performance has been inconsistent and who has faced numerous issues in recent years. Vinicius, who joined Real Madrid in 2018, has a contract that expires at the end of the next season, allowing him to negotiate with other clubs starting in January.
Spanish journalist Josep Pedrerol revealed behind-the-scenes details about Vinicius's contract talks on his program "El Chiringuito."
He stated, "I think what is happening is that Real Madrid has made an offer to renew Vinicius's contract, but I believe there is some hesitation or laziness regarding this renewal."
Pedrerol added, "Florentino [Pérez] is the strongest supporter of renewing Vinicius's contract at the club, while other members of the management do not see it as clearly. It is true that Florentino admires Vinicius and will renew his contract, but I think for the fans, renewing for another six years will not be understood at this time."
He continued, "In recent months, Vinicius has been subjected to whistles of disapproval at the Bernabéu. The atmosphere at the stadium towards him has changed, and there is a kind of coldness between Vinicius and the fans."
Pedrerol pointed out that if Florentino were to announce during the election campaign, "I will renew Vinicius's contract for five years," it would not gain him votes and would likely cause him to lose votes instead.
He concluded by saying, "Vinicius will renew his contract if he accepts Real Madrid's condition, which is to lower his demands, and if he does not accept, he will leave."
Yesterday, Florentino Pérez expressed his wish to renew Vinicius's contract but emphasized that he does not know the player's future.
