Alliance Formed by Lebanese Forces, Kataeb, and Future Movement in Beirut Bar Association Elections
Lebanese political parties announced an electoral alliance supporting four candidates for the Beirut Bar Association council following a series of consultative meetings.

A meeting was held between the "Lebanese Forces," Kataeb Party, and "Future Movement" parties, during which they declared their alliance in the upcoming elections. They expressed support for candidates Maya Muhammad Shahab, Riad Shidiak, Elie Kazan, and Elie Qlimous for membership on the board of the Beirut Bar Association, following a series of consultative meetings.
The candidates stated that "the alliance stems from a belief in the role of the Beirut Bar Association as a fortress of freedoms and a guardian of judicial independence and the rule of law."
In a statement, they clarified that "supporting the nominated professors comes from a complete conviction in their professional competence, integrity, and union history. This choice combines union experience with responsible party work on one hand, and an independent free voice on the other, based on the principle that the interest of the association and lawyers is above all alignments."
After the meeting, the four candidates held a session to coordinate electoral efforts.
