After Stone Attacks on Cars... Suspect Arrested

Issued by the office of Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad al-Hajj: "Following intensive security follow-up, investigations, and inquiries, the Information Branch of the Internal Security Forces managed to arrest the individual responsible for throwing stones at vehicles on the route of Rafic Hariri International Airport - Beirut, who has admitted to carrying out this act; meanwhile, investigations continue under the supervision of the competent judiciary to uncover all circumstances and motives.

Minister al-Hajj affirmed that "the Internal Security Forces will continue taking necessary measures around the airport road, intensifying surveillance and monitoring to prevent recurrence of such acts and ensure the safety of citizens and passersby."
