Al-Sharaa: We Do Not Intend to Carry Out Any Military Intervention in Lebanon

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa announced that he does not intend to carry out any military intervention in Lebanon.

He added, in an interview with Al Jazeera: "We are discussing with the Lebanese government solutions that would help bring Lebanon to safety."

He said: "The solution in Lebanon is not necessarily security-related, and we are working on a comprehensive approach to the crisis," noting that "any chaos in Lebanon could affect Syria."
