America warns its citizens against traveling to Lebanon... due to tensions!
The US Embassy in Beirut issued a warning advising American citizens not to travel to Lebanon due to heightened tensions in the Middle East and a complex security environment with potential for unexpected escalation.

Issued by the US Embassy in Beirut the following:
"Due to heightened tensions in the Middle East, the security environment remains complex with the potential for unexpected escalation. We remind American citizens in the region to continue to exercise caution, and we encourage them to follow the news for updates on urgent developments. Americans traveling within or through the region should also check with their airlines to ensure their flights are still scheduled. American citizens are advised not to travel to Lebanon and to reconsider travel to or through the Middle East.
Operational Status:
On February 23, 2026, the US Department of State ordered the departure of non-emergency US government employees and family members of US government employees from Lebanon, due to security risks. Please see the travel advisory.
