Foreign Minister: We Trust Washington... And Hope for Lebanon to Live in Peace with Its Neighbors

Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji affirmed that "the Lebanese army today has the required capabilities, and the bet now is to expand its control to include the entire south, as well as the entire Lebanese territory."

He added: "We trust Washington to ensure Israel's commitment, and we hope for Lebanon free from all occupation and all illegal weapons, prosperous, democratic, and living in peace with its neighbors and the whole world."

Rajji pointed out that "the vast majority of Lebanese aspire to that."
