The Forecasting Department at the Meteorological Service of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has predicted that Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin will experience usual summer weather with temperatures within seasonal averages until Saturday. On that day, the region will be affected by relatively hot air masses originating from the Arabian Peninsula, causing temperatures to rise, particularly in mountainous and inland areas. High humidity along the coast will intensify the sensation of heat.

Weather forecast for Lebanon:

Friday: Mostly few clouds with no significant change in temperatures along the coast, and a slight increase in temperatures inland and in the mountains. Humidity will be high on the coast. Dense fog will occasionally form over mid-elevation mountains starting in the afternoon.

Saturday: Clear to partly cloudy skies with fog over the mountains. Temperatures will continue to rise in the highlands and inland, exceeding seasonal averages. Coastal humidity will remain high, increasing the feeling of heat.

Sunday: Few clouds with fog over the highlands. Temperatures will rise further in the mountains and inland, while remaining stable along the coast. High humidity will persist, intensifying the heat sensation.

Monday: Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies with rising temperatures. Humid conditions will continue along the coast, enhancing the heat feeling. Winds will occasionally strengthen, and fog may form at times over mid-elevation mountains.

Surface winds will blow from the southwest at speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.

Visibility will be moderate along the coast but will deteriorate in the afternoon over the highlands due to dense fog.

Relative humidity on the coast will range between 65% and 85%.

The sea state will have low wave heights.

Sea surface temperature is 27°C.

Atmospheric pressure stands at 1011 hectopascals, equivalent to 758 millimeters of mercury.
